Driver License
As of January 1st, 2010, there are new documentation requirements for residents renewing or obtaining a new driver license or identification card. Click here for more information.
The Collier County Tax Collector provides full driver license service, including written test, driver test, and reinstatements, at the main driver license office, 725 Airport Road South. The hours of operation at this office are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Computer testing hours are 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Road testing hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Our Heritage Bay office offers full driver license services, as well. The hours of operation for Heritage Bay are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Computer testing hours are 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Road testing hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Orange Blossom location also provides full driver license service except for road tests. This location is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You may call (239) 252-8171 if you have any driver license questions. Computer testing hours are 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Tax Collector, in accordance with the Florida Statutes, will add a fee of $6.25 per transaction to the State of Florida Statutory fees.

Mobile DL Testing
The Mobile Road Test Unit is currently testing at the Immokalee Branch Office located at 106 1st Street, Immokalee, FL 34142. Tests are administered by appointment only. In order to be qualified to take the Road Test, applicants must bring a valid Learner’s License, Registration and Insurance for the vehicle that they will be driving for the test. Qualified residents desiring to schedule a road test may contact the Immokalee office at 239-252-8171 for an appointment.
