Temporary Marco Island Office to Open January 23, 2024

The Collier County Tax Collector is pleased to announce the opening of a temporary Marco Island office location on January 23, 2024.  This temporary office space, secured with the help of Collier County Facilities Management, will allow Marco Island residents to access Tax Collector services directly on the island.  “We are pleased to, once again, be able to provide Tax Collector services on Marco Island after having to temporarily reroute customers to our Eagle Creek office, located several miles north of the island”, says Collier County Tax Collector, Rob Stoneburner.  “I wish to thank the Collier County Facilities Management Team, the County Manager’s office, and Commissioner Rick LoCastro in assisting the Tax Collector’s office with the acquisition of this temporary Marco Island location.  This temporary office location will serve Marco Island residents until the original office location is razed and rebuilt.  I remain committed to maintaining a location on Marco Island to provide Tax Collector services to residents.  This temporary location is merely a down payment on that commitment.”

The Collier County Tax Collector’s office located on Winterberry Drive was severely damaged during Hurricane Ian.  Now that the official determination has been made that the damage exceeded FEMA limits,  the Marco Island office will need to be razed and rebuilt.
